Acts 5:17–32 describes the apostles facing opposition from Jewish religious leaders because they continued boldly preaching about Jesus. After being arrested, they are miraculously freed from prison and return to teaching in the temple.
When confronted again, Peter and the apostles declare that they must obey God rather than human authority. The passage highlights God’s support of their mission, their bold commitment to the gospel, and their unwavering proclamation of Jesus’ resurrection and the forgiveness found through Him.
