Acts of the Apostles 9:1–20 tells the story of Saul’s conversion. While traveling to Damascus to persecute Christians, Saul encounters Jesus in a bright light and becomes blind. God sends Ananias to heal him, and Saul is filled with the Holy Spirit, baptized, and begins preaching that Jesus is the Son of God.
