When It's All Said & Done

Ecclesiastes 12:13 says:

"Now all has been heard; here is the conclusion of the matter: Fear God and keep his commandments, for this is the duty of all mankind." (NIV)

This verse sums up the message of the entire book of Ecclesiastes. Throughout the book, the author (traditionally believed to be King Solomon) reflects on the meaning of life, the futility of pursuing earthly pleasures, and the importance of seeking a deeper, spiritual purpose. This verse reminds us that, in the end, our main responsibility is to respect and obey God.

It’s a call to humility, acknowledging that the ultimate meaning in life comes from God rather than from worldly pursuits.
