Testimonies from members of our church family about how God has worked in and influenced their lives.

Youth Praise Team leads praise and worship.

Psalm 34:8 says:

“Taste and see that the Lord is good; blessed is the one who takes refuge in Him.”

This verse is an invitation to experience God personally—not just to know about Him, but to truly encounter His goodness.

“Taste and see”

These are sensory words. Just like tasting food proves its flavor, this phrase encourages you to actively experience God’s goodness for yourself rather than relying only on others’ opinions or beliefs.

“The Lord is good”

This affirms God’s character—He is kind, faithful, and trustworthy. His goodness is not abstract; it shows up in care, provision, and presence.

“Blessed is the one who takes refuge in Him”

To “take refuge” means to trust God for safety, guidance, and security—especially in difficult times. The verse promises that those who rely on Him will find peace, protection, and deep spiritual fulfillment.

Psalm 34:8 is both an invitation and a promise:

Invitation: Come experience God yourself.

Promise: Those who trust Him will find true blessing and security.

If you want, I can also explain the historical context of this psalm or how people apply it in everyday life.
